VetAssist Florida Brings Early Thanksgiving to Seniors

On November 14, 75 Fort Lauderdale seniors were treated to Thanksgiving dinner by VetAssist® Program representatives Stan Wojcik and Donna Appel, and Marilyn DiPrima, of Nurse Next Door. Trustbridge Hospice donated the meal and sponsored the event, which was held at the YMCA in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While the guests were treated to desserts of apple, pumpkin and pecan pie donated by VetAssist, they learned about the VetAssist Program and its benefits to wartime veterans and their spouses.
